Water Damage Drying ("we", "us", "our") is a trading style of Oscura Projects Ltd. We provide property drying services across the UK using a network of vetted sub-contractors.

2. What personal data we collect

When you submit our enquiry form, we collect:

  • Your name

  • Phone number

  • Postcode

  • Description of your water damage issue

  • Your stated urgency level

We do not collect email addresses, payment card details via the form, or any special category data.

3. Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We use your information to:

  • Call you back to discuss your enquiry (lawful basis: legitimate interest)

  • Arrange a moisture survey visit at your property (lawful basis: performance of a contract)

  • Assign a qualified local sub-contractor to attend your property (lawful basis: legitimate interest / contract performance)

We will never use your data for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.

4. Who we share your data with

We may share your name, phone number, email and postcode with:

  • Our vetted sub-contractor drying companies, solely for the purpose of arranging and completing your moisture survey or drying work

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your data with marketing companies.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Active enquiries: retained for the duration of the service

  • Completed jobs: retained for 6 years for legal and accounting purposes

  • Enquiries that did not proceed: deleted within 12 months

6. How we store your data

Your data is stored securely within ClickUp (our project management platform) which uses encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Have your data corrected if it is inaccurate

  • Have your data deleted (where we have no ongoing legal reason to keep it)

  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest

  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
